Jessica Curry is a multi-BAFTA winning composer, writer, game developer and broadcaster. Elegiac, luminous and often beautifully direct, her music and writing examine themes of love, forgiveness, redemption, tolerance and hope. Her contemporary classical and video game music has had extensive exposure on radio and in concert halls around the world, including The Barbican, Sydney Opera House, Durham Cathedral and MOMI, New York. Her music closed out the first ever gaming Prom at the Royal Albert Hall in 2022.

Jessica co-founded and ran the internationally renowned game studio The Chinese Room, and her music, alongside her work as a creative and audio director, are fundamental to the studio’s reputation. She has written and presented shows and concerts for Classic FM, BBC Radio 3, Magic Classical, the Royal Albert Hall, BBC Maida Vale and many more. In 2023, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Music from Abertay University. Her most recent album, Shielding Songs, released in 2025, has been described as “deliciously ethereal” by The Guardian and “profoundly moving; offering grief, beauty and solace in equal measure” by Choir & Organ.
